Rank Math An SEO Professional Point of ReView

If you’re reading this, chances are high that you’re looking for an honest, no-fluff review of the Rank Math SEO plugin. Well, you’ve come to the right place.

I’m Akram Hossain, an SEO professional with over 6 years of experience. For the past 4 years, I’ve been using Rank Math extensively—both for my own websites and for my clients.

So, trust me when I say I’ve put this plugin through its paces.

In this point of ReView, I’ll break down everything you need to know about Rank Math and its free, and paid features, pros, cons, and whether it’s worth your time and money.

Plus, I’ll share why my perspective as an SEO professional might help you make the best decision for your project. Even your project is a multi-liguation.

My Thoughts About Rank Math as An SEO Professional

Does My Opinion Matter as An SEO Professional

Before we get into the nitty-gritty, let me tell you why my opinion might matter to you.

Over the years, I’ve worked with dozens of clients across various industries. From small blogs to large e-commerce sites, I’ve seen what works and what doesn’t when it comes to SEO tools.

Here’s why my perspective might help you:

  • Experience: I’ve been in the SEO game for 6 years, and I’ve seen trends come and go. I know what makes an SEO plugin truly valuable. It saves tons of time to make a website ready to rank for the search engines. Even it works for multiple search engines.
  • Client-Centric Approach: I’ve used Rank Math on client sites, so I know how it performs in real-world scenarios. Even my clients are happy to use Rank Math with its easy-to-use, user-friendly dashboard and actionable insights.
  • Technical Expertise: I don’t just look at surface-level features. I dig deep into technical SEO, usability, and scalability. Multiple schema markup features are one of them that saves me time and time when thinking about coding.
  • Trust Factor: I’m not here to sell you anything. My goal is to help you make an informed decision. I used Yoast SEO and AI In One SEO plugins for my website, but I got the flexibility with Rank Math.

So, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, I’ve got your back.

What is Rank Math?

In short, Rank Math is a powerful SEO plugin for WordPress that’s been gaining a lot of traction in recent years.

It’s designed to make SEO simple, whether you’re a newbie or an expert. You can call it Plugin-n-Play.

What sets Rank Math apart is its balance of user-friendliness and advanced features. It’s like the Swiss Army knife of SEO plugins—packed with tools to help you optimize your site without breaking a sweat.

But how does it stack up against competitors like Yoast SEO or All in One SEO?

Let’s find out.

Free Features

One of the things I love about Rank Math is how generous they are with their free version. They won’t even ask you for a credit card to use the free version.

Free Features of Rank Math

Here’s what you get:

On-Page SEO Analysis

Rank Math gives you real-time suggestions to optimize your content. It’s like having an SEO coach right in your WordPress dashboard. Super easy and gives your page score from 1-100, depending on the different aspects.

404 Monitor & Redirections

Broken links can hurt your SEO. Rank Math’s 404 monitor helps you find and fix them quickly. Small but very handy tool.

The redirection feature helps you to ensure the highest level of user experience with dead or broken links to relevant live links. You can use different types of redirection types, such as;

  • 301 Permanent Move
  • 302 Temporary Move
  • 307 Temporary Redirect
  • 410 Content Deleted
  • 451 Content Unavailable for Legal Reasons

XML Sitemaps

This is a significant feature for any website, although its competitor gives the same things for free.

Rank Math automatically generates XML sitemaps and keeps them updated. You don’t have to go too far away to create.

Keyword Tracking

The free version lets you track basic keyword rankings, which is great for small sites or beginners.

You can see up to 5 keywords or pages using the free version, but I think it’s enough to start for a small website with minimal pages.

User-Friendly Interface

Rank math user friendly dashboard

Even if you’re new to SEO, Rank Math’s interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. It allows the use of Rank Math on every website.

Its toggle system active and deactivate feature makes it easier to use any necessary feature if needed; otherwise, makes it inactive.

Transparent dashboard, appropriate icons, proper documentation, and so many user-centric features that stand out to the next level.

Robots.txt & ht.access File

It must be for a website crawling and allowing a search indexing bot to crawl your webpage internally, and you can allow or disallow them using a Robots.txt file.

Rank Math allows you to create and update your robots.txt file right from the dashboard without going to your server to update it. And it’s real-time.

Third-Party Integrations

It allows you to integrate Google Analytics to see the GA data right from your website dashboard in an organized way.

Also, you can figure out the keyword positions, performance, website health conditions, indexability, and many more that are insightful to make an action for the next round.

But here’s the catch:

While the free version is fantastic, it does have some limitations. For example, you won’t get access to advanced analytics or AI-driven content suggestions.

Paid Features

Now, let’s talk about the paid version. Is it worth the investment? Which paid features pushed me to upgrade my subscription to pay?

Paid Features of Rank Math

Here’s my take:

Advanced Analytics

The pro version integrates seamlessly with Google Analytics, giving you deeper insights into your site’s performance.

Advanced Site Analytics of Rank Math

It provides;

  • Insightful dashboard with consolidated metrics
  • Site Analytics for the site health conditions, including pages
  • SEO performance, such as total traffic, clicks, impressions, CTR, average positions, and many more
  • Total keywords that how many keywords are in position

Schema Markup

Advanced Schema Markup Generator of Rank Math

Schema is crucial for rich snippets, and Rank Math makes it super easy to implement. They even have pre-built templates for different types of content.

But you can use it only once per webpage with a free version. But I think it’s okay to go. And the paid version is limitless.

The paid feature allows you to use multiple schema markups on a single page, and it’s codeless. Also, you can save the schema markup as templates for repeat use.

Personally, I used single schema markup on my webpage, but it wasn’t enough to maintain my service pages, including my product pages. So I switched to the paid version, and yes, I’m enjoying the feature.

News & Video Sitemap

Another important and special feature for news websites is that they have different category sitemaps for news websites that give real-time updates and value to get ranked in real-time without delay.

Also, it’s similar to other sitemap features, but only for video media, which helps to index your video files within a particular category.

Advanced Local SEO

Advanced Local SEO Features of Rank Math

If you run a local business, the local SEO features are a game-changer. You can optimize your site for local searches with ease.

Local SEO features in Rank Math are available in limited edition, but the Pro version allows the bulk options to add your NAP (Name, Address, Phone) accordingly with detailed information.

Advanced WooCommerce SEO

For e-commerce sites, Rank Math’s WooCommerce features are a lifesaver. Rank Math helps here optimize product pages, categories, and more.

Including this, you can use product schema, rating schema, and many more after integrating the WooCommerce plugin into WP.

Content AI

Ola, a game-changing feature now from Rank Math, is also my favorite one. Content AI uses machine learning to suggest keywords, improve readability, and even analyze competitors.

Also, you can rewrite your existing paragraph for better output for your audience.

So, is the pro version worth it?

If you’re running a business or managing multiple sites, absolutely. The advanced features can save you time and give you a competitive edge. But if you’re just starting out, the free version might be all you need.

Pros and Cons

Let’s keep it real. No tool is perfect, and Rank Math is no exception. Here’s my honest breakdown:

Pros

  • Super user-friendly, even for beginners
  • The free version is packed with features
  • Regular updates and excellent customer support
  • Advanced features like Content AI and local SEO make it a powerhouse
  • Supports are available for all plans (Including free)

Cons

  • The interface can feel overwhelming at first, especially if you’re new to SEO.
  • Some advanced features are locked behind the pro version
  • Some features may conflict with the theme capabilities

Use Cases With My Client Using Rank Math

Real-World Use Cases With My Client With Rank Math

Let me share a quick story. One of my clients runs a local bakery. Their website wasn’t ranking well due to a sitemap issue; even my client was fed up with other SEO tools.

He came to me; I checked it out and suggested he switch the SEO plugins and change the other aspects for them as that SEO plugin conflicted with their themes and plugins.

Also, it was a local business, so he needed to optimize his website for local SEO, and Rank Math was the ultimate solution within his budget and necessity.

After switching to Rank Math and optimizing their site with local SEO features, their traffic increased by 40% in just 3 months.

Plus, they started appearing in local search results with rich snippets.  This is just one example of how Rank Math can make a real difference.

In general, Rank Math saves my client’s time and money simultaneously.
