Hands-on website improvements, clear communication and practical priorities.
BUILT AROUND YOUR BUSINESS
A service page can contain plenty of words and still leave the customer uncertain. Similar pages compete for the same purpose, titles promise the wrong thing and useful details sit below generic copy. I review what each priority page needs to accomplish, then connect its message, evidence and next step. The output is an implementable page plan, not a checklist of repeated keywords.
Who this is for
Corporate teams, enterprise content owners, real estate businesses, local service providers, ecommerce stores and small businesses improving established landing pages.
WHAT THE WORK COVERS
A practical scope for On-Page SEO, with recommendations tied to your business goals and the evidence available.
01 / FOCUS
Map priority URLs to customer needs using available search data, business goals and a review of the current results. Identify competing page purposes before adding another URL. Agree which pages should be improved, combined or kept distinct, with redirects and structural changes separately scoped when needed.
02 / FOCUS
Write distinct titles and descriptions that accurately represent each page. Organise headings into a readable hierarchy and make the main topic clear. Recommendations balance customer language and brand identity; they do not repeat a target phrase mechanically or assume Google will display the submitted wording unchanged.
03 / FOCUS
Improve service explanations, product distinctions, evidence, important questions and enquiry prompts. Work from approved business information, with specialist review for regulated subject matter. Suggest meaningful image alternatives and relevant supporting media rather than adding length, filler or decorative keywords to reach an arbitrary score.
04 / FOCUS
Connect important pages through relevant, descriptive links and a sensible next step. Check the published output after approved edits, including headings, metadata and mobile readability. Template, rendering or indexability issues discovered during review become clear technical tickets rather than disappearing into a content-only report.
A CLEAR HANDOVER
Agree on deliverables, responsibilities and access before the work starts. Recommendations and implementation are separated clearly in your scope.
01 / A priority URL, page-purpose and keyword-intent map
02 / Page-specific title, description and heading recommendations
03 / Content improvement briefs with approved evidence requirements
04 / An internal-link map and before/after implementation checklist
PLANNING EXAMPLE / NOT A CLIENT CASE STUDY
For a hypothetical commercial property firm, an office leasing page may mix investor advice, residential listings and tenant enquiries. The plan would clarify the page's commercial tenant audience, explain the actual leasing service, link to relevant location information and make the enquiry step easy to understand. It would not create a near-identical page for every keyword variation.
MEASURE WHAT MATTERS
Record a baseline for the agreed URLs and relevant query groups, then annotate when edits go live. Review impressions, clicks and click-through rate in context, alongside useful enquiries or purchases where measurement is available. Consider seasonality, position changes and other website releases before drawing conclusions. A completed optimisation checklist is delivery evidence, not proof that rankings or revenue will rise.
Discuss your goals ↗BEFORE WE BEGIN
The right scope starts with a shared understanding of the work and its limits.
Ask a question ↗They overlap but address different priorities. On-page work focuses on an individual page's purpose, information, metadata and links. Crawling, rendering and wider infrastructure issues may require a separate technical workstream.
The engagement starts with an agreed page set. Some pages need a few targeted changes; others need a fuller brief or rewrite. Writing, implementation and subject-matter approval responsibilities are defined before the work begins.
There is no useful universal keyword-density target. Use natural language that explains the topic and answers the customer's needs. A focus keyword is an editorial aid, not a reason to repeat an awkward phrase.
Not always. Google can generate title links and snippets from several page signals and may adapt them to the search. Clear, accurate metadata is still useful, but its display is not guaranteed.
Yes. Recommendations can be delivered as page briefs and implementation tickets, or approved edits can be included in the scope. The final check reviews what visitors actually see, including mobile layout and intended links.
